This Privacy Policy explains how Page Break Tools handles information when you use the Page Break Tools Google Docs add-on and this website.
1. Data accessed by the add-on
Page Break Tools needs access to the active Google Docs document to identify the cursor position, locate manual page breaks, and create the requested text selection. The add-on is designed to use the limited Google Docs access required for the current document.
2. Data collection and storage
Page Break Tools does not intentionally collect, copy, sell, or store the contents of your Google Docs documents on an external server operated by Page Break Tools. The add-on does not require a separate Page Break Tools account.
3. Use of Google user data
Google user data accessed by the add-on is used only to provide the user-requested selection functionality inside the active document. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.
4. Sharing
Page Break Tools does not sell Google user data and does not share document content with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
5. Google API Services User Data Policy
Page Break Tools' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Website hosting
This website is hosted using Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare may process technical request information necessary to deliver and secure the website. Page Break Tools does not use this website to collect document content.
7. Retention
Because Page Break Tools does not intentionally store document content on an external Page Break Tools server, there is no Page Break Tools document-content retention period.
8. Security
Page Break Tools is designed to minimize the access it requests and to keep its core selection operations within the Google Workspace environment.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
